Are you an author or what others call an author wannabee?  Have you written what seems like a hundred and one books but have not made a single cent out of it?  Are you desperate to share your books to the world but have no idea where to start?  Perhaps you would like to pour in some marketing efforts but lack the budget to do so.  Well, I have great news for you.  You have come to the right site because by simply being here and reading this article, you have taken the first step toward closing a sale to one of your books.  Are you skeptical?  Well, please read on and let me change your mind because through Bookinar, you can sell what seems like truckloads of books that you have invested on.

Consider the Bookinar Series as your marketing instructor as it gives you a step by step guide on how to make big bucks with your books with no insane money out involved.  Does it sound to good to be true?  Please lend me your ears (or eyes) and give me some of your time and I promise that it will be ultimately worth it.

Just imagine a marketing plan that could help you sell your books in an up to date manner?  Say goodbye to traditional marketing and sales efforts because these will soon be obsolete.  With Bookinar’s marketing strategy, you can significantly cut your marketing cost and pour all your efforts and resources on things that will help you close the sale with far less hassle.  Don’t you just find book tours awfully tiring and time consuming?  Sometimes it entails going on long road trips that leave you sore and exhausted.  After signing a couple of books, perhaps you discover that weighing your book sales and the effort it took to close those, it just is not worth it.

Don’t you just hate favor centered marketing wherein you engage in public relations to people who can help you market your book?  Isn’t that just tiring and let’s face it.  It’s not like you enjoy their company that much but you simply have to act all friendly and courteous to solicit their help. With Bookinar, you can say goodbye to all those things because you know for a fact that selling your book is really all up to you as the author.

If you believe in what you wrote in your book and you have the gift of speaking to let people know exactly why they should read your book, well all you need to sell is to read the Bookinar Series for guidance and a computer mouse and a PC with a good internet connection.  You can start marketing your book right at your own home.  It is that simple.  With Bookinar’s dialogue centered platform, you can closely interact with your readers.  In marketing, never undermine the power of relationships.

Read Bookinar’s 4 module series and start selling those library full of books.

Book Promotion Using Email Marketing Promotion

You have labored hard and dedicated time and effort to write your book for months. It is finally completed and you felt a sense of satisfaction emanating from within you. Being a smart author, you do realize that a good book written is only as good as a pile of white paper if the knowledge within is not delivered to the readers it is written for. It is akin to shouting out in a secluded island where nobody can hear you. Now the next thing to do would be to ensure that your target audience gets a hold of a copy each! So how do you go about doing that? How about doing a book promotion using email marketing promotion to push sales through the roof?

Book Promotion Using Email Marketing Promotion Increases Readership! (Bookinar.co)

The beauty of email marketing promotion is that it is free to be used over and over again once you have harvested and compiled your prospective reader’s email list. This way, you are able to launch your new book with visible success. Why is that so? The reason is simple, you are able to inform your readers of what is coming up, what to expect and where to get a copy. Gone were the days of direct mailing which costs a bomb compared to what email marketing can do for your book launch. With just a well written email and a click of a mouse, your potential readers are now aware of your new masterpiece.

You End Up Selling More Books Doing Book Promotion Using Email Marketing Promotion! (Bookinar.co)

So what’s going to happen when more of your readers got to know of your book? If it deals with the subject of their interest, then it is a sure bet that a good percentage of them will head out and grab a copy? It translates into increased sales. You just ended up selling more books. Now the beauty of using email marketing promotion to promote your books is that you can always follow up with an autoresponder sequence to remind your readers to come buy your book. If you are having a book signing event, you can email the readers that will be nearby to drop by and that will even boost your popularity with an influx of readers lining up for your signature. See the benefit yet? Other than that, you can also use freebies such as free bookmarks or CDs giveaways to entice buyers who actually show up for the event. The freebies can of course be another form of marketing material which is an entirely another subject for another day.

Make More Money When You Do Book Promotion Using Email Marketing Promotion (Bookinar.co)

To step up your conversion rate, you can even create a simple website with your own promotional video and email it to your prospective readers. This makes it more personalized than ever with you looking at them and talking to them. Nothing beats that and the best is, you can’t do that via snail mail. With your exposure and conversion boosted up, you are definitely going to end up making more money. Thus far, if you don’t do your book promotion using email marketing, then you are not just losing out to competing writers but also not helping your readers to get hold of the valuable information you want to share with them.

Nice Twist…

This video was prepared by the UK branch of Dorling Kindersley Books and produced by Khaki Films (http://www.thekhakigroup.com/). Originally meant solely for a DK sales conference, the video was such a hit internally that it is now being shared externally. We hope you enjoy it (and make sure you watch it up to at least the halfway point, there’s a surprise!). The clip was inspired by a video created by an Argentinean agency, Savaglio/TBWA entitled, “Truth”: http://bit.ly/truthvideo Read an interview with the creator of the video on the Penguin Blog: http://bit.ly/futureofpublishing

How to Write a Fantastic Testimonial

Written by admin on October 17, 2010 - 0 Comments
Categories: Testimonial

Testimonial writing, without a doubt, is tough to do well. It involves a level of sincerity, authenticity, genuineness that other writing just doesn’t require. After years of experience with buying products on the web, the modern customer has developed a keen eye for content that is too positive or sugary. In effect, it takes certain strategies from the writer to make a convincing testimonial. They aren’t terribly complicated, and when followed, can improve potential customers’ view of your product’s legitimacy immensely.

First things first, writing a testimonial is all about specifics. A generalized testimonial that, for instance, says “this product” instead of your actual product’s name will raise the reader’s suspicion very quickly. A tip: while you’re testing the product, keep track of each individual thing you like about it. Then, when it comes time to write the testimonial, you will have specific, believable material to back up your claims. For example, if you’re testing out something like an e-book, refer to a specific chapter that you found relevant in your review.

An additional technique that has proven very effective in testimonial writing is what is called “overcoming objections”. As the writer, introduce the piece with a few sentences about how you yourself were skeptical about how well the product or service would work for you. Then, go on to discuss how those specific reservations and fears were taken care of by the product’s quality. For instance, if you are writing a testimonial about a vitamin supplement, express your doubts about its effectiveness in the beginning. Then, go on to say how your doubts were eliminated with evidence including how much better you felt or performed afterward.

One popular format that testimonials often take is the “guru” piece. In it, someone claiming to be an expert on the subject that the product relates to gives his or her support to its quality and effectiveness. With a piece like this, honesty really is the only policy. If you are an actual expert on the subject, you have to prove it. Anything less will likely be considered an outright lie by the potential customer. Proving your expertise is generally pretty easy, especially if there is information about you available on the web. Just include your full name, title, and location in the testimonial itself. If you aren’t an expert, on the other hand, the rule is simply not to say that you are. Nothing can ruin the credibility of your business faster than false claims.

If it’s your website that the testimonial is going to be posted on, be careful not to over-edit them. Most sales pages incorporate several testimonials on a single page. When they all start to blend together with similar writing style and phrases, the potential customer will quickly figure out that something’s up. Whenever possible, keep the exact language that the original writer used. The only exception should be grammar and spelling mistakes. Preserving the testimonial writer’s original language will give the piece a quality of originality that a potential customer appreciates and believes.
